Seminyak-Petitenget Beach spread along 2 kms to the north of Legian. Seminyak- Petitenget beach area is home for many households, about 50 stylish hotels, restaurants and shops as well as Petitenget Temple-one of the main temples in Bali.

 

Visitors, local and from overseas, love the nature and recreation space in Seminyak beach area. Frequent religious ceremonies in two major public temples and on the beach are accommodated in harmony with the Clean Seminyak - Petitenget :: The Beach surroundings. Every day Seminyak-Petitenget beach is visited by hundreds of visitors who swim, surf or just have fun on the beach.

 

Occasionally, between January and April, Seminyak-Petitenget beach gets piled up with stranded garbage brought to the area by changing ocean currents. During that period, about 2 tons of garbage per day is collected.

 

Every hotel provides a special team to keep the beach clean but sometimes it's not enough. They could only clean up the stranded garbage in front of hotel's/restaurant's beach but not in-between property spaces.
